Last updated: 6 August 2026. This policy describes the public Visit HB website at visithb.com.au.

Information the site handles now

Visit HB does not currently provide user accounts, checkout, a newsletter form or a public contact form. The published site does not intentionally set analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, this policy and any required consent controls must be updated before the new collection starts.

If you email [email protected], Visit HB receives the address, message and any information you choose to include. Do not send payment details, identity documents, health information or booking credentials.

Hosting and technical records

The hosting and security provider may process standard technical records needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, time, requested URL, browser or device information and security events. Visit HB uses those records only for operation, security, fault diagnosis and lawful obligations.

Why information is used

  • To answer corrections, rights requests and enquiries.
  • To operate, secure and troubleshoot the website.
  • To investigate misuse, broken links and technical failures.
  • To comply with lawful obligations and resolve complaints.

Sharing, storage and retention

Information may be handled by service providers that supply hosting, security or email. Those providers may process data outside Australia under their own infrastructure and contractual terms. Visit HB does not sell contact-email information. Records should be kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose, dispute history, security or legal obligations.

External links

Visit HB links to operators, government services, accommodation and other third parties. Their sites have their own privacy practices. Opening an external link transfers your request to that provider.

Access, correction and complaints

To ask what personal information Visit HB holds through direct contact, request a correction or make a privacy complaint, email [email protected]. Identity may need to be verified before information is released or changed.

Future analytics, advertising or email features

Before introducing analytics, affiliate tracking, advertising, saved itineraries or email signup, Visit HB will document the data, purpose, providers, retention and consent requirements, then update this policy and the site controls. No policy statement overrides rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
